Determination of residual organic solvents in daptomycin by headspace gas chromatography

Abstract：Objective To establish a method for the determination of residual ethanol and acetonitrile in daptomycin by headspace gas chromatography. Methods The DB - WAX capillary column was adopted,temperature programming and FID detector was used. Results The two compositions had good linear relationship and the precision and reproducibility of the method were in accord with the requests. Conclusion This method could be used to determine residual ethanol and acetonitrile in daptomycin.
