Determination of gastrodin and paeoniflorin in Tianma Xuanyunning Mixture by HPLC

Abstract：Objective To establish an HPLC method for the determination of gastrodin and paeoniflorin in Tianma Xu-anyunning Mixture. Methods The optimum HPLC condition was as follows:Hypersil C18 column(4. 6 mm × 250 mm,5μm),mobile phase:actonitrile - 0. 1% phosphoric acid solution,detection wavelength:223 nm,column temperature:30 ℃ , flow rate:1 mL min - 1. Results There were good linearity between peak areas and injection quantity of gastrodin and pae-oniflorin within the range of 0. 020 4 ~ 0. 816 μg,0. 073 ~ 2. 92 μg. The average recovery was 98. 3 % for gastrodin,96. 7%for paeoniflorin. Conclusion The HPLC measurement was reasonable,stable and accurate. The method could detect gast-rodin and paeoniflorin in Tianma Xuanyunning Mixture.
