Determination piperaquine phosphate in Dihydroartemisinin and Piperaquine Phosphate Tablets by HPLC

Abstract：Objective To establish the analysis method of piperaquine phosphate in Dihydroartemisinin and Pipera-quine Phosphate Tablets by HPLC. Methods The samples were separated on a Waters Symmetry RP18(4. 6 mm × 250 mm,5 μm)with acetonitrile-0. 1% trichloroacetic acid - phosphoric acid(19:81:0. 035)at a flow rate of 1. 0 mL·min-1 . The detective wavelength was 349 nm,the column temperature was 30 ℃. Results The linear range of piperaquine phos-phate was 0. 003 81~0. 038 1 mg·mL-1(r=0. 999 9),the average recoveries(n=9)was 99. 5%(RSD= 2. 12%). Conclusion The method was sensitive,accurate. It can be used to identify and evaluate the quality of Dihydroartemisinin and Piperaquine Phosphate Tablets.
