The role of BMps in the central nervous system development and neuroprotection

Abstract：BMPs is a member of the transforming growth factor - β superfamily,Now found that many subtypes BMP of BMPs sustained expression in different areas of the nervous system,but its expression in space and time are different,sug-gesting that different subtypes of BMPs are also differences in the function of the nervous system. This review focused on the role of BMPs in the central nervous system development and neuroprotection.
