Technical Analysis and Development of Reducing and Sizing Mills for Bars

Abstract：The reducing and sizing block is core equipment in the production of high-quality special steel,playing a crucial role in ensuring product dimensional accuracy and surface quality.This paper reviews the latest advancements in process equipment within this field and analyzes the development of domestic autonomous technologies.It introduces the technical principles and applicable scenarios of 2-roll,3-roll,and 4-roll reducing and sizing blocks,summarizing the achievements in the research,development,and application of domestically produced equipment.Although progress has been made in related areas in China,there is still room for improvement in mastering key technologies and enhancing engineering maturity.Facing the increasing demands from downstream industries for efficiency,quality,and intelligence,future bar rolling mill technology will evolve towards higher speeds,greater precision,and deeper intelligent integration.
