Abstract:The 35 kV high-voltage circuit breaker of the LF ladle furnace in the steelmaking plant has a persistently high failure rate due to the high-frequency switching operations(8-10 times per heat of steel). Moreover, after offline maintenance, there is a lack of effective means to verify whether it meets the online operation standards, which may easily lead to production interruptions or safety accidents. To address this issue, this paper designs an offline detection device. It adopts a modular structure consisting of four major modules:power supply, control, indication, and output, and is integrated into a 450 cm×400 cm control cabinet.By simulating the switching operations under actual working conditions and combining circuit on-off control with a signal feedback mechanism, the device achieves accurate detection of the circuit breaker's functions.Practical application shows that the device has stable power supply and convenient operation. It can intuitively feedback the switching status and the closing condition of the three-phase contacts, providing a reliable basis for fault diagnosis and performance verification. It effectively meets the offline detection needs of the steelmaking plant and provides technical support for the stable operation of equipment.
