Production Process Control and Improvement of 50Cr15MoV Stainless Steel for High-End Cutting Tools

Abstract：In view of the quality problems in the development process of 50Cr15MoV stainless steel for high-end cutting tools,the difficulties and cruxes of process control are found out,and improvement measures are made to optimize the process scheme,the problems of 50Cr15MoV rolling,such as delamination and carbide segregation,are solved by improving the composition of molten steel and temperature hit ratio of GOR furnace,optimizing the slab thickness,adopting dynamic soft reduction and improving rolling process The process of annealing and pickling was optimized to improve the properties and microstructure of steel strip and meet the requirements of customers.
