Application of Automatic Temperature Measurement on the Pusher Rod in a 7 m Top-charging Coke Oven

Abstract：The automatic temperature-measurement technology on the pusher rod is a major innovation in the modern coking industry.By installing temperature sensors on the pusher rod,the system monitors the temperature of the chamber wall in real time during the pushing process,providing continuous data for optimizing the heating regime and for furnace maintenance.It eliminates the high risk,discontinuous data and limited sampling associated with traditional manual measurements,and enables automated,intelligent and precise temperature monitoring of the coke oven.Based on practical application of this technology in a 7 m top-charging coke oven,the paper analyses and summarizes the value of automatic temperature measurement on the pusher rod.
