Abstract：This article elaborates on the importance of hydrogen energy in energy conservation and carbon reduction in the steel industry.It analyzes the production processes of hydrogen energy in the steel industry,including hydrogen extraction from coke oven gas,hydrogen production from coal gasification gas,and hydrogen production from natural gas.Combined with current development,it focuses on describing the main application pathways of hydrogen energy in the steel industry,including hydrogen rich blast furnaces,hydrogen based vertical furnaces,and hydrogen rich sintering.Finally,several suggestions are proposed to expand hydrogen sources,explore new hydrogen metallurgical technologies,and provide policy guarantees.
