Abstract:This study focuses on the preparation and performance exploration of alloy steels with different titanium contents,as well as the influence and control methods of impurity elements on titanium recovery rate during steelmaking process.Alloy steel samples with titanium contents of 0%,0.05%,and 0.10%were prepared using vacuum arc furnace smelting technology. The effects of titanium content changes on the microstructure, mechanical properties, and low-temperature impact toughness of the steel were systematically studied. The results indicate that titanium microalloying can effectively refine the grain size, significantly improve the strength, plasticity, and low-temperature impact toughness of steel. At the same time, the influence of impurity elements such as oxygen and sulfur on titanium recovery rate was deeply explored, and a method for removing inclusions by optimizing the refining slag composition was studied for aluminum deoxidized steel.
