Design Characteristics and Design Management of Billet Continuous Casting Machine for Export Overseas

Abstract：Based on a six-strand billet continuous casting machine project exported to a country in the Middle East,this paper introduces the main process technical parameters,process flow and characteristics of the main process equipment of the continuous casting machine.During the implementation of overseas projects,the environment is more complex.The design standards,design communication and handover and confirmation of design documents are different from those in China.This paper explains the content of design management and focuses on the relevant design management experience such as design scope,design process control,design interface management and design liaison.
