Optimization Practice of Clean Smelting Process Technology for L485M Pipeline Steel

Abstract：This paper conducts sample analysis on the unqualified flaw detection of L485M pipeline steel.Through microscopic examination by electron microscope and combined with the on-site process,the types and sizes of inclusions affecting the flaw detection quality are determined.Two adjustment tests of the clean steel smelting process have been carried out,achieving good results.The flaw detection qualification rate under the tightened internal control standard has increased from 69.7％to over 99.5％,achieving stable and controlled flaw detection quality of pipeline steel.
