Short Tuyere Experiment under Low-grade Smelting Conditions of Rizhao Steel's 4# Blast Furnace

Abstract：Since 2024,the No.4 blast furnace of Rizhao has experienced poor operation,high fuel consumption,and poor blast furnace capacity to accept air volume.The blast furnace breaks away from conventional concepts and adopts short tuyere reshaping operation to shape the furnace.At the same time,based on the mathematical model formula of the blast furnace tuyere swirling zone,high wind speed and high blast energy operation are adopted to increase the proportion of swirling zone area,improve smooth operation,and optimize the blast furnace indicators.
