Improvement and Application of Safety Operation Monitoring System for Gas Pipeline Network

Abstract：In response to the increasing number of leaks in the later life cycle stage of the Angang gas pipeline network and the lack of online detection and alarm systems,a gas safety monitoring system for the pipeline network has been developed and applied.Power supplies,fixed CO alarms,wireless transmission devices,and data reception and monitoring devices have been installed at 91 locations.Since the system was put into operation,the efficiency of discovering and handling gas hazards has been significantly improved,thereby ensuring public safety in the gas production area.
