Research on Nitrogen Increasing Process of F45MnVS Non Quenched and Tempered Steel

Abstract：In order to study whether it is feasible to use nitrogen as lifting gas for increasing nitrogen efficiency of aluminum killed steel with[S]content of 0.035％-0.075％during RH vacuum furnace treatment,a factory conducted nitrogen circulation nitrogen increasing process test by changing the type of lifting gas,adjusting the vacuum degree(controlled between 20 000-30 000 Pa)and increasing the circulating flow(1 500 L/min)nin the 120 t vacuum furnace process.The industrial experiment shows that the average nitrogen increasing efficiency is 20.9％,and the average mass fraction of nitrogen element is 0.0120％.The purpose of increasing nitrogen without using alloy has achieved.
