Analysis of Melting Point of RH Refining Slag System During Production of High Grade Non-oriented Silicon Steel

Abstract：In this paper,the effects of various compounds on the melting point of refining slag in the CaO-SiO2-Al2O3-MgO four-way RH refining slag system were discussed by measuring the melting point of RH refining slag in the production process of high grade non-oriented silicon steel through FactSage software calculation and laboratory refining slag melting point.The results show that when the CaO content is 30％～40％,the low melting point area is larger;when the Al2O3 content is 10％～20％,the low melting point area is larger;the SiO2 control is more appropriate;when the MgO content is 8％～10％,the low melting point area is larger;the error is less than 5％,and the calculation results are reliable.
