Abstract:Through chemical analysis, metallurgical performance analysis, and mineral type analysis of the sintered ore, pellet ore,and lump ore fed into the furnace,United Special Steel found that the calcium ferrite in the sintered ore is distributed in an interwoven structure, with many iron olivine phase structures in some positions, resulting in good sintering reduction pulverization performance and poor reduction performance. The internal pore structure of the pellet is"quasi circular",so there is a certain liquid phase formed inside the pellet. The microporous structure inside the pellet is developed, and the mineral particles exist in the form of surface contact, which is conducive to improving performance.Newman block ore has greater resistance to thermal shock, while SP10 block ore contains higher levels of crystalline water.Due to the discharge of crystalline water at high temperatures, the thermal expansion between ores varies, resulting in the production of more powder;compared to SP10 blocks, adding Newman blocks is more conducive to improving the permeability of the blast furnace material column and facilitating the smooth operation of the blast furnace.By reasonably matching the proportion of raw materials entering the furnace, the stability of the blast furnace has been improved, achieving the goals of low consumption, high production, high efficiency, and long service life in blast furnace production.
