Abstract:Dagao village iron deposit is located in the south of central Dongping block uplift tectonic units and the north of Wenshang-Dongping iron ore belt. The lithology of Magnetite is magnetite hornblendite quartzite, which is layer occurrence. The ore bodies occurred in ferruginous rocks in the top of late Archean Taishan Group Shancaoyu Formation. The origin of iron ore deposit is sedimentary-metamorphic deposits. The Iron component is related to basic and intermediate-acidic volcanic activity in sea floor. The magnetic anomaly of the area which is larger than 400 nT and the strong low value region between the two magnetic anomaly zones are important parts to look for iron ore deposits.
