Quality Optimization and Improvement Measures of Q345B Rectangular Flat Steel

Abstract：For the non-uniform mechanical properties of Q345B rectangular flat bar, load-bearing substandard of some specifications and other quality problems, analyses believed that the bigger fluctuation of chemical composition, the higher heating temperature and slow cooling rate are the main reasons. By taking some technology measures such as narrow component control, reducing heating temperature and increase the cooling rate of the flat bar in bed, the properties of the Q345B series rectangular flat of subsequent production can fully meet the standard requirements. The mechanical properties are uniform and have small fluctuation, and that can meet the user requirements.
