Process Optimization and Quality Control of 65Mn Saw Steel
GUO Da
Abstract:Due to the pitting and peeling on the surface of 65Mn saw steel after cold-rolled, metallographic, electron microscope and energy spectrometer is used to analysis. The results showed that there is a large amount of the class B inclusion (Grade 2.5) and the class C inclusion (Grade 3.0) in the steel. Then based on optimizing the converter, refine and CC process, the cleanliness of the steel is improved and the secondary oxidation is avoided. Besides, the inclusion is reduced by controlling the grade of class B inclusion and the class C inclusion at 0.5, total grade of them must be fewer than 3.0 as well. Quality problems can be solved due to these measures are implemented.
