Advances in Materials and Manufacturing Processes for Wear Resistant Layer of Copper Crystallizer Surface

Abstract：Wear resistant layer of copper crystallizer surface consists of single metal coatings, binary and ternary alloy coatings and composite coatings which are added the second phase particles. The materials, manufacturing technology and application of coating were reviewed. It is pointed out that thermal spraying and laser cladding coating will have a long-term development because of its own advantage;electroplated wear layer and the other surface wear layer will exist and complement each other.
