Development and Application of Monitoring System of BF Hearth Erosion

Abstract：In order to prevent the burn wear of blast furnace hearth and bottom, the blast furnace special cable type temperature sensor was used as a temperature sensor in 1 750 m3 BF for Jinan Iron and Steel Group. The 300 PLC system was chosen to set up the hardware platform, the software STEP7 of program was developed, the WinCC6.0 and monitoring software was used as the man-machine interface. The hearth of blast furnace carbon brick temperature field distribution and ablation conditions of automated x-ray diagnosis and alarm system was developed independently. The system can real-time monitor the temperature field of the hearth and bottom, monitor the erosion and slag iron changes. The real-time alarm for erosion of hearth and bottom can be implemented, the abnormal furnace condition can be prevented and the service life of the blast furnace can be prolonged.
