Research on the Process of Phased Grinding-magnetic Separation for an Iron Ore with Pyrite
WANG Zhongjie
Abstract:The double phased grinding-magnetic separation is used for one iron ore with pyrite in the paper. It can be found that first phased grinding fine is 45%with the magnetic field 160 kA/m, and the second phased grinding fine is 80%with the rough magnetic field 143 kA/m and the finish magnetic field 127 kA/m. The grade of final iron concentrate reaches 64.30%with its sulfur being less than 0.25%. Based the method, the recovery of the Fe can be reached 78.42%. In addition, in procedure of mineral separation, a great deal of tailing with 45% productivity in first phased may be discarded on the first phased grinding-magnetic separation, which is benefit for not only save the energy but also improve the capacity per hour for dressing equipments.
