Influence of Carbon Content on the Microstructure of Ti-IF Steel

Abstract：The effect of carbon content on microstructure and inner texture of the grain of the Ti-IF steel sheet had been investigated by means of optical microscope, scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction in different production process. The results showed that with the decreasing of carbon content, the grain size of Ti-IF become coarser and the favorable texture become stronger, which makes the macroscopic properties of Ti-IF steel is lower strength and higher r value.
