Abstract：Aiming at the problems of stave damage, serious corrosion of soft water system, decreasing cooling capacity, friable pipe network for Laiwu Steel’s 1 880 m3 BF in late campaign, a variety of optimization measures in strengthening the cooling capacity, extending equipment life, reducing energy consumption and other respect were taken. Then it ensured the recycled water system safe, stable and efficient operation.
