Comprehensive Utilization of Blast Furnace Dust

Abstract：Considering the blast furnace dust impact on production and the environment, the flotation machine, spiral concentrator, jigger, and pressure filter are put into use again according to the production situation in Taishan steel, which have been left aside in former coal washing workshop. A new blast furnace dust comprehensive treatment technology is used to achieve 100% effective availability of the handled dust. About 25-42 t powdered iron and 22-30 t carbon powder can be made from 100 tons blast furnace dust, so that environment pollution and iron-making cost can be reduced further.
