Research on Utilization Rate of Pulverized Coal to Blast Furnace in Laiwu Steel
ZHOU Xiaohui
Abstract:The mass fraction of carbon and mineral composition were investigated. The effect of different coal ratio on the mass fraction of carbon and unconsumed pulverized coal ratio were analyzed, and the amounts of unconsumed pulverized coal and coke particles as well as the utilization rate of pulverized coal were tested in the four blast furnace (BFs) in Laiwu Steel. The results showed that the mass fraction of carbon is highest in the BF1, and the value is around 50%. The content lowest in BF2 is 20%-30%and 10%-15%respectively in gravitational dust and bad dust. The texture of unconsumed coke in dust is mosaic texture mostly and the area percentages of unconsumed pulverized coal and coke particles in bag dust are lower than that in dust. The utilization rate of pulverized coal was above 98.17%. The dust and unconsumed carbon have a increasing trend with the rising of pulverized coal ratio. We can reduce the carbon content by controlling the pulverized coal ratio on the basis of raw material.
