Abstract：For realizing the automatic control of moisture in sinter feed mixture, new 2 sets PLC main machine and some substations were added on the basis of PLC controlling system of original No.1 and No.2 sinter machine, and the moisture measuring system of sinter feed mixture was developed by forming two level controlling net constituted by Ethernet and Modbus Plus and programming adopted Concept 2.6 FBD. After the operation of this system the moisture in sinter feed mixture can be stably controlled, the stabilization of moisture in sinter feed mixture was increased to 95.7% from original 78.2%, and at the same time, the quality of sintering was increased.
