Abstract：The analysis by ore chemical composition, physical properties and metallurgical performance showed that the PB ore compared with South Africa ore has high iron grade, SiO2, Al2O3, S and alkali metal content are low, but the content of P is high;The granularity, cold and hot strength of the PB ore are not better than South Africa ore;But the reductibility of the PB ore is better than the South Africa ore. In view of the performance of the PB ore, it is suggested that the ore should be distributed at the center of the blast furnace, reduce low stock line operation, mix the ore and coke together so that improve the vapor permeability of stock column.
