Production Practice of Special Cathode SY200E lectrolyzer

Abstract：In order to reduce the electrolytic aluminum production cost, in July 2011, the company completed 19 special cathode electrolyzer reconstruction and achieved successfully operation. Through production a set of optimal technical condition indexes of special cathode electrolyzer was explored to make special cathode electrolyzer smooth and efficient operation under low voltage operation, realized the power saving of 500 kW·h every ton of aluminum.
