Abstract：With reactive power as switching criterion, completing capacitor switching by using contactless switch, application of three-phase and single-phase hybrid compensation method, the general type reactive power compensation equipment upgrades to the modular intelligent lower vote reactive power compensation device. In operation of a small section rolling plant of Jinan Steel the device is stable, effective compensation system without power, improving the power supply reliability of system, eliminating the system harmonic impact on communication system risks, the estimated annual savings of electricity cost 0.323 1 million RMB.
