Abstract：In order to reduce cost, Jinan Steel transformed 4.3 m coke oven into stamp-charging coking oven by transforming disintegrator, newly building side mount coal-tower, improving dusting method and newly adding mechanical equipments. After transformation, on the premise of ensuring the quality of coke, the coal resource for coking was enlarged with added more than 30%-40%high volatile weak coking coal and a part of non-viscous coal. The blending cost reduced more than 30 RMB per ton.
