Abstract：In order to reduce coal-blending cost and enlarge coal resource, Jinan Steel developed one of the new coking coals. This coal came from People’s Republic of Mongolia and it has better coke ability and low sulphur content. Based on the comparison between Mongolia Coking Coal and other coking coals inland, when the Mongolia Coking Coal was blended in ratio of 20 percent, the quality of coke kept stable and the cost of blending-coal reduced by 10 Yuan RMB per ton.
