Abstract：Through the analysis of the fire leakage phenomenon around the regenerative boxes of heating furnace, Yuzun Wire Rod Plant of Qingdao Steel adopted some measures such as transforming the structure,changing the way to install, Improving the manufacturing process of the regenerative boxes and changing the switching mode of combustion control section and to reform the heating furnace. Fire leakage phenomenon is not appearance again, the heating capacity is significantly increased, section and side reversing valves operate stably, rated gas consumption is lowered to 57 416 m3/h, and the operating environment is improved.
