Abstract：Since the tar distillation process in chemical plant of Jinan Steel put into operation, the yield of industrial naphthalene is only 9.5%-9.8%. By changing the system’s cooling equipment, increasing the naphthalene content in raw material, improving the temperature of the raw of into tower, raising the heat supply for distillation, optimizing and adjusting the technological parameters, so that the yield of industrial naphthalene was increased to 10.5%above, the annual economic benefit of 3 millions Yuan was achieved.
