Abstract:Stroke is a highly prevalent acute cerebrovascular disease, often accompanied by motor dysfunction.Transcranial mag-netic stimulation(TMS)as a non-invasive brain stimulation method, has been validated in massive clinical trials for its significant re-habilitation outcome on post-stroke motor dysfunction. However, the underlying neurorehabilitation mechanisms remain unclear.Further research and exploration are needed. This paper reviews the recent developments and the state-of-art of TMS in the field of motor reha-bilitation after stroke, focusing on motor function assessment, intervention and the establishment of recovery prediction models,provi-ding a reference for future research endeavors.
