Abstract:The poly (lactic co glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanofiber membrane by electrospinning is a kind of biodegradable polymer material with wide application prospect. In order to investigate the influence of different factors on the spinning process and the mechanical properties of the film, Box-Behnken experimental design was employed with three main influential parameters,i.e.PEG concentration, flow rate and electric field intensity, as the independent variables and the tensile strength of the fibers as the investigative object. The results show that PEG concentration has the most significant influence on the tensile strength, and follow by the two voltage. The observed responses are in close agreement with the predicted values of the model , which shows that the mechanical properties of the model can effectively predict the PEG/PLGA composite fiber membranes.
