Abstract:Tremor is an early symptom for about 70% of patients with Parkinson' disease.A portable system which was used to detect tremor and tremor signal processing algorithm was introduced. The system could meet the needs of the clinical work of doctors for objective and digital evaluation of the severity of tremor in PD patients.4 PD subjects and 4 healthy subjects were tested with both hand wearing detecting equipment. In test, all subjects completed the standard action for detecting resting tremor in unified Parkinson disease rating scale(UPDRS).The detection device transmited the acceleration signal of resting tremor to the computer, and the computer recorded and analyzed the signal in time domain and frequency domain. The data was filtered. Results showed that the logarithm of mean, RMS, peak amplitude and peak power were correlated well with the judgments of a neurologist(r>0.8).Themultiple linear regression model could effectively predict resting tremor score(r>0.8), results and clinical observations were consistent. The design of the wearable tremor data acquisition device can be accurate, objective and digital evaluation tremor.
