Research on the Quality Evaluation of Chest Compression Training based on the Signal Similarity Measurement

Abstract：Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)is the only effective way to rescue patients with cardiac arrest.The chest com-pression is the critical step in CPR.In order to evaluate the operation quality of chest compression trainers,an evaluation method based on the signal similarity measurement was proposed in this paper.Based on the compression depth signals within the whole process of operation,the chest compression operation could be described with multivariate time series composed of time domain features by feature extraction.The similarity measure algorithm was used to compare the similarity between different compression signals.Finally,the sim-ilarity of chest compression signals between several groups was calculated in the experiment.The effectiveness of the evaluation method based on the signal similarity measurement is verified by experiment results.
