Progress on the Composite Bone Repair Materials of Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells and Nano Hydroxyapatite

Abstract：With the development of bone tissue engineering,nanometer hydroxyapatite (nHA)as a new type of bone scaffold ma-terials arises at the historic moment,and bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs)is an ideal seed cells in bone tissue engineer-ing.At present,the composite bone repair materials of BMSCs and nHA are used for the clinical research.But the clinical technology and condition is not so perfect.We summarized the detection techniques and indicators of some aspects such as the composite of the bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and the nano -hydroxyapatite,the proliferation,differentiation,necrosis,apoptosis and minerali-zation of BMSCs on the nano -hydroxyapatite and nHA’s degradation in vivo.Meantime,the influence factors of their composite were also sumed up.For both,they provide the basis for the composite of BMSCs and nHA as the restorative materials of the bone applied to the clinic.
