Investigation of the Continuous Vacuum Sealing Drainage in the Application of Surgical Perineal Wound Treatment

Abstract：To observe and study the continuous vacuum sealing drainage (VSD)in the application of surgical perineal wound treat-ment and nursing.Totally 336 cases of patients after perineal operations (crissum abscess,sacral tail bedsore,etc.)from 2007 to 2013 in our department were randomly divided into two groups.The 168 patients in the control group received routine treatments,while the 168 patients in the experimental group used the VSD technique.All of the 336 patients were given health guidance and analysis. Patients obtained ideal therapeutic effect in the wound or surgical site by using VSD technique.Applying VSD in the perineum wound, combined with the perfect health guidance and high quality nursing,may shorten the hospitalization days and reduce patients'pain.
