The Preliminary Study of Delayed Luminescence of Scenedesmus

Abstract：To detect the delayed luminescence of the scenedesmus by usingtheYPMS -2 Biophotonmeasuring instrument.The measured results were inputted to the OriginPro 9.1 software,the best linear fit was done with the hyperbolic function.The scenedes-mus had strong ability of biophotonemission,the hyperbolic law of delayed luminescence provided some evidences for the coherence the-ory of biophotonemission.The three parameters (I0 ,τ,β)of the hyperbolic function carry the information about the different concen-trations of Scenedesmus and liquid media.In other words,biophotonemission has high sensitivity to the internal changes of biological systems and the impact of the external environment,which lay a certain theoretical basis for the scenedesmus being used as biological indicators of liquid environment.
