Abstract:Sol-gel TiO2 film was coated on Ti substrate and then polydopamine film was utilized to immobilize bovine serum albu-min (BSA)molecules to improve the hemocompatibility of TiO2 film. The analysis of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy indicated that polydopamine film and BSA molecule layer were formed at TiO2 film surface. The results of contact angle measurement showed that the polydopamine film and BSA molecule layer increased contact angle, but decreased surface energy and interface tension of the sample. The hemocompatibility tests demonstrat that the sample with BSA molecules layer has better anti-thrombogenic activity and anti-ag-gregating function compared with the TiO2 coated sample.
