Abstract:Inorder to explore acute effect of low doses of alcohol,22 volunteers participated in this P300 ERP(event related poten-tial,ERP)experiment.We collected their EEG without drinking alcohol and 2 h after they drunk. The result showed that the P300 am-plitudes collected at 0.5 to 1 .5 h after drinking were higher than that collected without drinking. There was no difference in latency. It can be concluded that low doses of acute drinking alcohol can make cerebral excitarory, and enhance the cognitive ability.
