Abstract:A scanning device was designed for positioning scan used in the experimental study of magneto-acoustic tomography. In the device, the precision motion control was achieved by using NI platform,as well as data acquisition. The transducer could not on-ly move along X axis,Y axis,Z axis, but also rotate around the Z axis.Besides, the experimental sample loading disk could rotate a-round the Z axis.By using Labview software, program was edited to realize real-time data acquisition, display and storage. To verify the utility of the device, the transducer′s position accuracy was investigated at first, then,a copper-ring sample was taken intocom-parison experiments, which was between transducer′s position moved by hand-controland the scanning device. The results prove that the scanning device can meet the requirements of magnetoacoustic experiment.
