Research on the Self-tuning Fuzzy PID controller of the Thermostatic Medical Infusion Pump

Abstract：We designed a self-tuning fuzzy PID controller,which combined the theory of fuzzy control with conventional PID con-troller.Then the conventional PID controller and the self-tuning fuzzy PID controller were respectively applied to the thermostatic medical infusion pump.The result shows that the self-tuning fuzzy PID controller has better dynamic performance,shorter setting time and smaller steady-state error than the conventional PID controller.
