Abstract:To detect T-wave alternans (TWA)phenomenon of the nonstationary electrocardiogram(ECG)based on the time-domain method replace of the traditional spectral method which has limits on stational heart rate.TWA module process based on the moving average beat analysis which detects the alternans amplitude using the maximum difference between the computed median beats of even and odd beats were introduceel. We tested the time domain method using the European ST-T clinical ECG database. The re-sults showed that the moving average beat analysis had good correlation with spectral analysis and could reach tracking time-varying TWA phenomenon dynamically. The time domain method of moving average beat analysis tracks the T wave variation in the amplitude or morphology of the beat-to-beat ECG more accurately and it is suitable for daily dynamic ECG monitoring.
