Research on the Characteristic of Three Current Source Constant Current for Breast Electrical Impedance Measurement

Abstract：To study the constant -current characteristics of the Voltage Control Current source (VCCS)used in bioelectrical impedance measurement system .Three types current source were discussed ,including improved Howland current pump ,Howland current pump with voltage follower and bipolar current source with DC stable loop.The relationship between the output impedance and circuit parameters was also analyzed.NI Multisim12.0 software were used to compare the constant-current characteristics of the three current source,and two better solutions were improved and selected for physical test.The simulation and experimental results showed that the output current of the bipolar current source with stable DC loop was most stable when the frequency or load was changed.It is the best current source in breast electrical impedance measurement.
