Construction of RDE operating conditions for light diesel vehicles based on Markov process

Abstract：In order to improve the efficiency of real driving emissions(RDE)testing for CHINA 6 light diesel vehicles and reduce the cost and cycle of RDE calibration,a random generator for RDE operating conditions is developed based on Markov process algorithm for a certain light pickup truck diesel vehicle as the research object.Based on the accumulated RDE data of the vehicle model,a transition matrix for urban,suburban,and high-speed driving conditions is established,which could randomly generate RDE urban,suburban,and high-speed driving conditions.The results show that the RDE working conditions generated by the generator cover all working conditions of the CHINA 6 standard for light vehicles,which can provide support for simulation model construction and engine in the loop test bench through compliance verification.
