Measurement of Crankshaft Angle of 9250 Diesel Engine
Abstract：Engine crankshaft is one of the critical components so its parameters are specified strictly. As one of the main factors, crankshaft angle may have important effect on engine combus- tion. A precise measurement to the crankshaft angle may prevent the diesel engine from being dam- aged. It is very complex to measure preciously the crankshaft angle of the single cylinder engine . The paper proposes that the crankshaft may be divided into two parts. Each part may be measured independently. The measured results of two parts are overlapped to obtain a precious value of the crankshaft angle. The practices show that this method is easy and effective.
